Join us for the kickoff of our Summer Discussion Series with Sarah St. George, lay leader and ministry student, who will lead the session attempting to answer the following questions:
- What qualities are essential in religious leaders?
- Are religious leaders morally or spiritually obliged to put their lives on the line to defend a cause or marginalized people?
- How much of a religious leaders’ time, resources and/or energy should they be expected to give to those in need?
Sarah brings a thoughtful, compassionate perspective shaped by her own spiritual journey and her preparation for ministry. Join us as we explore answers to these questions – yours, ours, and the ones we discover together.
Whether you’re a longtime UU, new to our congregation, or simply curious about Unitarian Universalism, summer is a wonderful time to visit. Our smaller summer gatherings offer a relaxed opportunity to experience worship, meet friendly people, and discover what our community is all about.
