This Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Norwich, longtime member Joseph ‘Denis’ Lanoue will share a reflection titled “Never Give Up.” A Norwich resident for many years, Denis has deep roots in the community, having raised his family in the Greeneville neighborhood and built lasting friendships throughout the city.
Many in the area know Denis through music. He is a member of the Feisty Four Stringers, a local ukulele group that performs around the region, and he also sings in a community band. Known for his warm spirit, storytelling, and generous heart, Denis brings a message shaped by lived experience, friendship, and the sustaining power of perseverance.
Join us for a meaningful morning of reflection, music (NFA Teacher Patrick Kirker will join us on guitar), and community. Service begins at 10:00 am at our Worship & Gathering Center, 67 – 69 Main Street, downtown Norwich, CT, across the street from the Main Street Parking Garage.
