Challenge of Having a Happy New Year

Second Sunday of the new year and you’re thinking about calling it quits on your resolutions…

Not this week. Any Sunday is a good day to jump back in. But this Sunday is even more special. Help us welcome our newest speaker, Rev. William Zelazny.

Rev. Zelazny was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 1992. He has served four congregations, the most recent was Channing Memorial Church in Newport, RI. His ministerial career also included 15 years as the District Executive of the former Ballou Channing District for the Unitarian Universalist Association.

He retired from full-time ministry in June 2025 and now guest-preaches in the region. Rev. Bill received his Master of Divinity degree from Starr King Schools for the Ministry. Prior to becoming a UU minister, he held several senior-level administrative positions in municipal government. He and his husband live in North Kingstown, RI.

This week he will help us pick up the “Challenge of Having a Happy New Year.”

Remember, coffee and conversation always follow the service for those that stop by.
