Words are not just communication — they are creation. Each phrase we choose can either build bridges of understanding or walls of separation. As Unitarian Universalists, we know words matter because they reflect our values. Words spoken in Love can heal, words chosen with Justice can liberate, and words mindful of Interdependence can connect us more deeply to one another.
This week, I invite you to notice your words — especially the ones you speak to yourself. Are they encouraging or limiting? Do they open the door to Transformation, or close it?
As I begin my ministry with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Norwich, I look forward to exploring these questions with you in worship, reflection, and conversation. Together, we can practice speaking words that nurture hope and possibility.

✨ Join us for Sunday services at UUCN. I’ll be preaching regularly on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. Keep returning to uunorwich.org for details on upcoming services and events.
